Life of ‘The Quaid’ in Photos and Quotes

December 25th, 2009 § 9

For most of us, December 25th marks nothing more than a usual day in the course of time but only some realize it’s importance with respect to how this mere date changed the history and the future of muslims in the sub-continent. Here we take a look into the life of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, in photos and quotes, from his birth on this very date to his last breath in this world.

“Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating nation state. Mohammad Ali Jinnah did all three.” – From Stanley Wolpert’s book ‘Jinnah of Pakistan’.

Quaid addressing the Muslim Students Federation in Quetta

I particularly appeal to intelligentsia and Muslim students to come forward and rise to the occasion. You have performed wonders in the past. You are still capable of repeating the history. You are not lacking in the great qualities and virtues in comparison with other nations. Only you have to be fully conscious of that fact and to act with courage, faith and unity. – Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Jinnah, the ultimate man of honor

Jinnah and his speeches triggered the Pakistan Movement

There is no doubt that the future of our State will and must greatly depend upon the type of education and the way in which we bring up our children as the future servants of Pakistan. Education does not merely mean academic education, and even that appears to be of a very poor type. What we have to do is to mobilize our people and build up the character of our future generations. – Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Speech at the opening ceremony of State Bank of Pakistan, Karachi July 1, 1948

We must work our destiny in our own way and present to the world an economic system based on true Islamic concept of equality of manhood and social justice. he did in 7 years what he said……..he relay on his own arms, but today after 60 year of our independance, we people(POLITICIANS) r only BEGGING, BEGGING & BEGGING from foreign states……this was not what our leade Quaid WANTED FROM US……….WE EVEN DON’T KNOW IN WHICH DIRECTION WE PEOPLE ARE MOVING,
THINK SERIOUSLY…….OR CHILL, LIKE ALWAYS, AS U WERE BEFORE

  • Hmmm… after checking some of the comments I ask myself whether they in reality read the weblog articles and reports before leaving your 0.02 cents or if perhaps they merely look at the title of the article and type the very first thought that comes to mind. regardless, it is cool to browse through clever commentary from time to time instead of the exact same, old blog vomit which i generally notice on the internet

  • Salam good job, I wonder what makes the great leader live and die. Of course its not the death itself; rather its the followers who by following the commands and footsteps of their leader keep them alive or just kill them by forgetting their words.
